RACE 4 — ANOTHER BIG STEP FORWARD! 🕊️🏁

What a race!

On 23 August, our pigeons faced their next major challenge — 325 km. After three incredible races and record-breaking performances, it was time to step up once again and see how the young birds would handle the longer distance.

Every kilometre now counts. Every decision matters. And with each race, we are getting closer to discovering which pigeons have what it takes to go all the way.

At the start, we expected a headwind of up to 15 km/h, while a strong crosswind from the right, reaching up to 20 km/h, was forecast for the last two-thirds of the race. Not an easy task for young birds at all!

We predicted a winning speed below 1,300 m/min.

But once again, our pigeons pleasantly surprised us! They came like rockets!

We have never seen them come back from a race flying so high. We believe they were probably using the altitude to find the best conditions and mitigate the strong winds. It was an absolutely amazing experience to watch them coming home!

And then came another fantastic number: 88% of the pigeons were back home on the first day!

On the second day, another 6% returned, bringing the total return rate to an incredible 94% after 325 km.

94% of our pigeons were back home from a 325 km race by the time we closed the race! And of course, there will be some more pigeons back for sure.

We are more than proud of these young athletes.

And we even had an unexpected visitor waiting at the loft — a young hawk appeared just as the first pigeons were landing. Fortunately, he stayed hungry this time again!

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE WINNERS! 🏆

🥇 1st place — Alexander Hahn

Congratulations to Alexander Hahn for taking first place with his pigeon DV-2026-F1003-28, achieving an incredible 1,379 m/min!

Even more impressive: this pigeon is a sibling of the winner of Race 2 from last year's edition.

Top-quality pigeons are not a coincidence — proven again and again!

🥈 2nd place — Hardy Krüger & Xue Yugin

Congratulations on second place with the outstanding pigeon DV-2026-F1083-01.

This top bird is also proving its quality in the ACE Pigeon competition, where it is currently holding 1st place! Great pigeon – fingers crossed for the upcoming races!

🥉 3rd place — Team Ločniškar

A big congratulations to Team Ločniškar .

Srečko is a local fancier who started focusing seriously on OLR racing last year, and he is getting better and better with every race. A fantastic result!

🏆 FANCIER OF THE RACE

Congratulations to Team Tom Van Gaver & Alberto Abajo, our Fanciers of the Race!

We already know they have extraordinary pigeons, and their results are getting stronger and stronger as the distances increase. Longer races clearly suit this team! 🔥

A great and perhaps slightly surprising result also goes to Andov Aleksandrov from Bulgaria, who takes second place with his team of pigeons.

Third place goes to Pavel Senohrabek from the Czech Republic – already known OLR player.

Congratulations once again to all the winners and top performers! 👏👏👏

What we have seen from this year's pigeons so far is truly special.

The fighting spirit, determination, quality and ability to adapt have been exceptional. 💪🕊️

Race 4 was another important test — not only of speed, but of endurance, recovery and the ability to keep fighting all the way home.

And this is exactly what the AviRings Derby PRO is about:

Challenging the pigeons again and again, under different conditions, and finding the true champions.

And now… there is no time to relax! 😎

RACE 5 — 405 KM — IS ALREADY THE NEXT CHALLENGE!

The distance gets longer.

The competition gets tougher.

And the road to the 3×500 continues.

Let's go! 🔥🕊️🏁
