Competitions
Master Fancier (Overall Team Performance)
A team-based competition. The team consists of a maximum of 10 pigeons.
At each official race, the total flight time of the 2 best pigeons from the team counts for the Master Fancier competition.
After nine official races, we will determine the 'Master Fancier Winner'.
3x500 Cup
Lowest total time across Final 1,2 & 3. AviRings Derby PRO doesn't have a classical final race anymore – the winner of the 3x500 Cup is the final winner!
Ace Pigeon Ranking (Overall Best Performance)
The five best pigeons on 4 intermediate races, the semi-final race, and the three final flights will be rewarded for the best Ace pigeon (overall ranking). Pigeons are ranked according to average speed, which is NEW in season 2026.
Champions Of The Nations (Best Pigeon by Country)
A special competition for countries with more than 50 entered pigeons, where the best-performing pigeon from each qualifying nation is crowned national champion based on the highest average speed across all eight races. The top three pigeons in each participating country will receive prize money. Read more about this competition here.
Each Final Race
The top 35 from each of the last three races will also be awarded! Here is the list of prizes:
Fancier of The Race (Single Race Performance)
Alongside the Team Competition, where the winner is determined after all races, the Fancier of the Race competition runs in parallel — awarding a winner after each individual race based on the best team performance. The total time of the top pigeon group per race is calculated, and the best result earns the title "Fancier of the Race". Each official race winner will receive a free team (5 pigeons) in the next year AviRings Derby PRO.
Lucky Loser Award
The fancier whose pigeon places 99th in each official race wins a free entry for one pigeon in next season.
