Race: Mátyásdomb (166.16 km)

The second race, 170 Km, was the first real challenge for our birds. Because of the cloudy wetter in the morning hours, we had a late release, however, the Nord wind was getting stronger and stronger. It was 22C° at 9:45 as we release the birds, and they went straight in the right direction.

1336 m/min was the speed of the first bird from Karin Leichtfried from Austria which needed 2h and 4 minutes for 166 Km. Congratulation Karin.

Pigeons came in a lot of small groups and afternoon more than 250 pigeons came individually. Birds had a big lesson on race 2, we are sure they gather some important experience for the hard races yet to come.

In the morning hours of the next day, came again almost 100 pigeons; at 12:30 the next day 1053 birds from 1146 were clocked and they are still coming.   We were very happy at the end.  The losses are still inside a modest percentage, which we are very proud of.
