The response from pigeon fanciers around the world has exceeded all expectations.
When we launched AviRings Derby PRO, our original plan was based on 2,750 pigeons and a guaranteed prize fund of 213,000 €. Today, thanks to the incredible support and trust of the international pigeon racing community, we have reached an outstanding milestone:
3,214 paid pigeons have been entered into the competition.
As a result, AviRings is proud to announce that the total prize fund for the 2026 season will increase from 213,000€ to 260,000€.
This means that an exceptional 40.5% of all entry fees will be returned directly to competitors through prizes, placing AviRings Derby Pro among the most rewarding One Loft Races in Europe.

The remarkable support shown by participants from across Europe and beyond confirms that this vision is shared by the pigeon racing community.
Because of this success, we believe it is only right that the participants benefit directly from the growth of the race.
Bigger Rewards for the Champions
The increased prize fund will be used to further strengthen the most prestigious achievements in the competition.
The prizes for the Top 3 winners in each of the three finals will be increased, ensuring even greater rewards for the lofts that produce the very best performances on race day.
NEW FOR 2026: CHAMPIONS OF THE NATIONS
In addition to the increased prize fund, AviRings proudly introduces a brand-new international competition:
Champions of the Nations
Countries with more than 50 entered pigeons will compete for this special title, creating an exciting rivalry among fellow countrymen, friends, and racing enthusiasts.
The competition will be based on the highest average speed achieved across all eight races.
The highest-ranked pigeon from each qualifying nation will be crowned its country's Champion. As 15 countries have met the participation requirements this year, 15 winners will receive the title of Champion of the Nation.
In each participating country, the top three positions will be rewarded with prize money.
15 countries qualify for the competition:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, the Netherlands, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and the USA.
This exciting new competition adds an entirely new dimension to AviRings Derby PRO. Alongside the battle for overall victory, participants will also compete for national pride.
Who will become the best pigeon in Belgium?
Who will lead the Netherlands?
Which loft will bring glory to Germany, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, or any of the other competing nations?
