Meet the Champion of Final Race 3: JC Lofts
10/4/2026
In today’s blog & video, we take you behind the scenes of an incredible victory and the story of the champions of Final Race 3/3. The duo is also the winner of the 4th race of the 2025 season, the most difficult race, with pigeon BE-2025-2055194.
Cristian Petre and Jos Timmermans, competing together under the name JC Lofts, celebrated a well-deserved victory in the third final race on September 26, 2026.
Their winning hen, named Frieda, returned to our lofts after the demanding 521 km challenge with an impressive speed of 1,241.08 m/min.
Frieda will soon be available in a PIPA auction, but before that, we invite you to watch the winners’ statement and discover the story behind this remarkable achievement.
What did JC Lofts have to say after the race?
"Thank you so much to you and the entire AviRings team for everything you have done for us.
These are not just polite words—they truly come from our hearts. We genuinely feel every word we are saying.
From the very first moment we met Gašper, he made a remarkable impression on us. He came across as a humble, genuine, and kind-hearted person, and that first impression reflected everything we have since experienced with your team.
We feel that we truly identify with AviRings—a team of people who are highly professional while remaining humble and approachable at the same time.
That is exactly why AviRings represents something much greater to us. It is like a mirror of the values we believe pigeon racing should stand for. In many ways, it has become a symbol of what pigeon sport should look like all around the world: seriousness and professionalism, but also a place where genuine friendships are created and lasting bonds are built between people who share the same passion."
Thank you, team JC Lofts and good luck in the next season!
